The KIIT Student Activity Center (KSAC) hosted the much-awaited Student Society Induction Ceremony, bringing together students, faculty, and society members in a vibrant celebration of leadership, creativity, and community.
The presence of Prof. (Dr.) Achyuta Samanta, Founder of KIIT, KISS and KIMS; Prof. (Dr.) Saranjit Singh, Vice Chancellor of KIIT DU; Prof. Jnyana Ranjan Mohanty, Registrar of KIIT DU; and Prof. Samaresh Mishra, Director, Student Affairs, added special significance to the occasion. Their inspiring words motivated the students to embrace leadership and teamwork with passion and responsibility.
The highlight of the event was the unveiling of titles for the newly elected Presidents and Vice Presidents of student societies, marking the change from their earlier designations as Coordinators and Assistant Coordinators. The formal proceedings then included the launch of the Koffee Table, Kompendium, and Diary, along with the screening of the KIIT Fest 8.0 after-movie and a sneak peek of KIIT Fest 9.0. Student felicitations formed a central highlight, recognizing contributions from across societies.
The evening further transitioned into a lively cultural showcase. Performances ranged from a soulful instrumental collaboration by Korus and Spic Macay, to melodious musical numbers by Korus, and a spirited Jugalbandi by Khwaishen. Energetic dance acts by the International Society and Korus electrified the stage, followed by a thought-provoking theatre act by Kalakaar and a mesmerizing live painting session by Kraftovity. The ceremony concluded on a grand note with a spectacular fashion show by Kzarshion, embodying the creativity, confidence, and artistic flair of KIIT students.
The 2025 Induction Ceremony stood as a testament to KIIT’s commitment to fostering leadership, talent, and teamwork. With newly elected Presidents and Vice Presidents stepping into their roles, the event not only celebrated student achievements but also set the stage for an exciting year ahead.
