The Secretariat of KIIT International e-MUN hosted a workshop titled ‘In It To Win It’ virtually on 16th January 2021. The workshop was regarding KIIT International Model United Nations, one of the largest simulations of the United Nations across the globe, organized by KIIT Deemed to be University, Bhubaneswar.
KIIT International e-MUN is going to be held virtually from 29th -31st January 2021. The event started with the briefing by Dr. Shyam Sundar Behura, Dy. Director, Student Services, KIIT. A video of all the past successful ‘Munsters’ was exhibited. Further, the participants were familiarized with the quintessence of KIIT MUNs. They were reassured that even though KIIT International MUN is going to be held virtually, the vigour and warmth will be better than before.
An overwhelming response of more than 400 students was seen. An interactive presentation was done for various committee descriptions and their agendas. An active query session was also witnessed. A small deliberation on death penalty as an example was conducted smoothly. Quizzes on Rules of Procedure, complete the Logo was undertaken which attracted a lot of attention by the participants. A presentation regarding various collaborators like Grow, Ekeeda was also done. The workshop concluded with a projection of videos about various facets of MUN.
