‘Kzarshion’, the Fashion Society functioning under KIIT Student Activity Centre (KSAC), hosted its first episode of “Kandid with Kzarshion”. It aimed to unfold those aspects of Fashion and Lifestyle which are still unknown. The invited guest Ms. Pooja Kanth, who is the owner of ‘Pooja ki potli’, praised ‘Kzarshion’ for giving importance to Marcram art. The initiative will make people aware about this traditional art, she stated. Throughout the session, multiple factors were discussed in context with the Macrame arts.
‘Pooja ki potli’ is a brand that just started with ₹5000 and now is one of the leading brands of Macrame Arts. Ms. Kanth helped rural women learn the art of Macramé and become financially independent. From starting out to empower local rural women to provide a sustainable livelihood, her brand ventured to support budding artists.
The show, which also included a series of question answers, was carried out smoothly by the hosts Mayank Kumar and Alankrita. Dr. Shyam Sundar Behura, Dy.
