The School of Tribal Resource Management, under the aegis of KISS Deemed to be University, and Indian Accounting Association, Bhubaneswar Branch, signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on17th August 2022. This collaboration relates to the key areas of joint research including publications and activities between students and staff; jointly undertaking academic and research work on issues relating to socioeconomic exclusions, deprivations and inclusive growth of tribal and other backward communities, etc.
The signing ceremony was graced by Professor Deepak Kumar Behera, Vice Chancellor, KISS-DU; Dr. Rabindra Kumar Swain, Secretary, Indian Accounting Association (IAA), Bhubaneswar Branch; Professor Ranjan Kumar Bal, Professor Emeritus, KISS-DU; Dr. Snigdharani Panda, Dean, School of Tribal Resource Management, and faculty of Commerce Programme. Speaking at the signing ceremony, Prof. Behera outlined the benefits this collaboration will bring to the students. It will ultimately enhance the knowledge and skills of the students in areas of Accounting, he stated.
The Secretary of Indian Accounting Association, Dr. Swain expressed happiness and enthusiasm regarding this new collaboration. He thanked KISS-DU for the beneficial initiative. Professor Ranjan Bal entailed how accounting is sometimes a difficult subject for students but eventually their levels of interest will elevate through such collaborative initiatives.
Dr. Snigdharani Panda proposed a word of thanks and listed the benefits that the students will get from these collaborative steps: like participation in National and International Seminars, Lectures, Quizzes, etc. She also presented the future plans drawn for the School of Tribal Resource Management keeping in view the interest of the students.
