Kalinga Institute of Nursing Sciences (KINS) organized the 12th lecture under the guest lecture series on “Nursing Consultation Enhance Research Capacity Building” on 16th July 2022 through virtual mode. Delivering the lecture, Prof. Nipin Kalal, Assistant Professor, Transplant Coordinator, AIIMS Jodhpur highlighted different aspects of nursing consultation and explained the importance of building the knowledge of nursing fraternity in research. He discussed the pillars, principles and different strategies to improve research capacity among nurses, and emphasized on issues and challenges faced by the nurse researcher. He also focused on strengthening research capacity at the individual, institutional and social level and how to get funding for research from other agencies.
Earlier, Prof. Kalyani Rath, Vice Principal, KINS explained the objective of the lecture series. The faculty members of KINS, M.Sc. nursing 1st year and 2nd year students enthusiastically participated in the session. The vote of thanks was proposed by Mrs Nibedita Mohanty, Asst. Prof, KINS.
