Teachers’ Day, celebrated all over the country to mark the birth anniversary of the second President of India Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan, was observed with much enthusiasm in Kalinga Institute of Nursing Sciences (KINS) on 5th September 2020. Despite the pandemic situation, students of KINS left no stones unturned to express gratitude to their teachers.
Speaking on the occasion, Prof. (Mrs.) Amarita Lenka, Principal, KINS commended the role being played by teachers during the pandemic situation. Prof. Pramoda Kumari Nayak, Prof. Niyati Das and Mrs. Kalyani Rath, Associate Professor, KINS spoke on the essence of the student-teacher relationship.
Students expressed their gratitude and appreciation for their teachers in various ways: guru vandana, singing, speech, poem, shayari, sketch, painting, 3D art, dancing, music, videos, etc. It was an overwhelming experience for all teachers. Even though the event was organized over a Virtual Platform, each and every faculty member will cherish the memories forever.
