The second year Post-Graduates from the Department of Respiratory Medicine, KIMS bagged the top spots at the State-level NAPCON quiz. Dr. Kinshuk Sarbhai obtained the top spot, while Dr. M. Jeeshitha Reddy stood second. The quiz was organized by the Indian Chest Society where Post Graduates of the Department of Respiratory Medicine from all medical colleges in the State had participated. Dr. G. Lohitha Sri Gouri, a second year Post Graduate student, won the third prize for her paper entitled “Prevalence and risk factors for drug resistance in LRTI in health-care associated infections” at the National Conference of Chest Physicians (NAPCON 2020). The paper was co-authored by Dr. Saswat and Dr. C. Mohan Rao.
