The Department of General Medicine on July 27 organized a Continuing Medical Education (CME) programme on Hypertension. The event featured prominent national speakers, including Dr. P.K. Sahoo, Senior Cardiologist from Apollo Hospital, Bhubaneswar; Dr. Nishit Mohanty, Senior Nephrologist from Apollo Hospital, Bhubaneswar; and Dr. Dipak R. Das, Cardiologist from SCB Medical College and Hospital, Cuttack.
Esteemed speakers from the institution included Vice Dean Prof. Shubhransu Patro and Prof. Pramila Jena from the Obstetrics and Gynaecology Department. The event was honoured by the presence of Pro-Vice-Chancellor Prof. C.B.K. Mohanty; Dean Prof. A.P. Mohanty, and Medical Superintendent Prof. R.C. Das.
The CME was conducted by Prof. Lalatendu Mohanty, Head of the Department of Medicine, and saw active participation from faculty members of various other departments.
