A Welcome-cum-Orientation Programme for Skill Development Training under R&R Project of Vedanta Aluminum and Power Limited, Lanjigarh was organized on 3rd March 2021 at KIIT Deemed to be University, Bhubaneswar. The Program was attended by 89 trainees.
In his welcome address, Dr. Sarat Chandra Swain, Professor, School of Electrical Engineering & Principal, KIIT ITI congratulated the trainees for selecting KIIT, which has emerged as the best platform for Skill Development training. At the same time, he thanked Vedanta officials for the initiative of skill development program at KIIT .
Prof. Sasmita Samanta, Pro Vice Chancellor, KIIT Deemed to be University addressed the trainees and highlighted the importance and scope of Skill Development training as a profession and conveyed best wishes for their future endeavors.
Dr. N. B. Parhi, Head-CSR, Vedanta Limited addressed the trainees to build a successful career and wished them for a new beginning of their academic life. The meeting ended with a vote of thanks.
