In order to instill debating skills among the students, the Annual Intra School Founder’ Cup Debate Competition was organized by the Kronicle Society at KIIT Student Activity Centre on 10th March, 2018. About 50 students from different schools participated in the event.
Gracing the 13th Edition of the Debate Competition as the Chief Guest, Prof. Achyuta Samanta, Founder, KIIT & KISS expressed his pleasure and remarked, “KIIT has been putting equal emphasis to every kind of extracurricular activities happening around. As a result of which it is being organized so nicely for the last 13 years in a row.”
The Founder also gave away the prizes to the winners. The first prize was bagged by Ms. Ragini Pathak, 4th year KIMS, 2nd prize was won by Ms. Shreya Nandi, 3rd year Electrical Engineering Student and the 3rd Prize was bagged by Mr. Debarun Barua 2nd year Electrical Engineering Student.
Among others, Prof. Hrushikesha Mohanty, VC, KIIT Deemed University; Dr. Sucheta Priyabadini Director, Student Services graced the occasion. The event was coordinated by the Faculty Coordinator, Dr. Deepanjali Mishra, SOH as well as the student coordinators Mr. Animesh Kumar, Mr. Kaustabh Bandopadhya, Mr. Arindam and Mr. Soham.
