The valedictory function of summer internship program, “Modeling Applications in Water Resources Engineering” was held on 10th July 202. It was participated by UG, PG and PhD students of the School of Civil Engineering, KIIT-DU. In his valedictory address, Dr. Ajay Pradhan, President, CEAI, New Delhi expressed his views on the importance of various aspects on water resources sectors through the linking of water resources projects at Central and State level and also at International level. Dr. Pradhan interacted with the participants and answered their queries.
Speaking on the occasion, Dr. Jyotiprakash Padhi, Internship Coordinator briefed about the content delivery by various experts during the program followed by the feedback session of all the participants. All the sessions of the internship program were well appreciated by the participants. Dr. Sanjib Moulick, Dean, School of Civil Engineering and Dr. Bitanjaya Das, Sr. Professor stated that the water sector is becoming very critical at the State, National and International level and emphasized the advanced techniques to alleviate the situation. The program ended with a vote of thanks by Dr. Paromita Chakraborty.
