NICMAR organized a Seminar on “Job Opportunities in Construction, Real Estate, Infrastructure and Project (CRIP) Sector” in association with KIIT Deemed to be University on 17th November, 2018 at Auditorium, Campus 7.
Dr. S. Singh, Director (Industry Engagements), KIIT DU introduced the Industry Experts and NICMAR representatives to the students after the ‘Lighting of the Lamp’.
Gracing the occasion as Chief Guest, Mr. Koka Seshasai, Cluster Head – Bhubaneswar (IWS BU), L&T-Water & Effluent Treatment remarked that the construction field is a developing sphere in the Indian market. He also emphasized on the necessity of experience and the need for leaders in the various sectors of Construction. He motivated the students in asking them to join whichever sector they get an opportunity to work in instead of having any particular preference.
Mr. Bijay Rath, Head – HR, UMSL, Bhubaneswar said that there was a problem in employability even though there is plenty of job opportunities in real estate, infrastructure & construction field. He encouraged the students to be fearless in facing the tough environments.
Dr. Milind Phadtare, Dean – PGP, NICMAR, Pune demonstrated the various programs offered by different Campuses of NICMAR. He urged the students to go for higher studies in order to attain specialization in domains as well as management sectors.
Dr. Sarbesh Mishra, Dy. Dean, Placements & Assigned Activities, NICMAR, Hyderabad gave a brief talk on the placements data & packages offered to the students of NICMAR by leading industries in India & abroad.

Prof. B. G. Mohapatra, Dean, KIIT School of Civil Engineering spoke about the importance of Skill enhancement in the field of Infrastructure Development.
NICMAR felicitated Dr. Saranjit Singh, Dr. B.G.Mohapatra, Dr. D.K. Bera and Prof. Subrat Behera for the smooth management of the Seminar. A productive open house was carried out for answering the queries by the students. The Seminar came to an end by a ‘Vote of Thanks’ by Dr. D.K. Bera.
