KSOM organizes its 10th National HR Conclave

KIIT School of Management, organizes its 10th National HR Conclave at its premises on 3rd August, 2019. The theme of this year’s conclave is “Critical Competencies for the Future: Is Change the only Constant?” 

In the Inaugural Session, welcoming the dignitaries to the conclave, Dr. Achyuta Samanta, Founder, KIIT & KISS said, “for any kind of organization, HR is very vital and it needs to be  managed with utmost priority. Unless and until,  HR is not  managed properly, then it would be virtually impossible on part of the origination to rise above the occasion. KIIT Deemed to be University has exemplified in management of HR and that’s why it has  been granted the tag of  ‘Institute of Eminence(IoE)’.”

Setting up the context, Dr Sanjay Muthal, CEO, Kontempore Leadership Solutions and Services(KLSS) elucidated on the perspective of employee and employer. He remarked that we should be globally competitive, cost competitive and market competitive so that our services would become world class. The HR wing of any organization should  recruit human resources who in turn can create competitive advantages.

Advising the students he said, “you are the Future Managers. Invest in experience instead of any other material things. You have to come up with proper framework, change and dynamics.  You have to find the solution to any sort of problem.”

Prof. Hrushikesha Mohanty, Vice Chancellor, KIIT Deemed to be University said that if human is a resource, then KISS is the best example in this regard as a laboratory of human resources. In real life experience you can turn to human resources. As the world is changing a lot, so the employees usually  loiter between the rural world and cyber world.

At the outset, Prof. Dr. Anil Bajpai, Director, KSOM outlined the  genesis of HR Conclave and other activities carried out by SOM at this University for engaging with the Industry. He said that SOM has engaged a lots of industry stalwarts to share their view, vision and wisdom and that brings an opportunity for the students to build their career.
