KINS Organizes e- Seminar on “Research Methodology”

“Research is the creation of new knowledge and use of existing knowledge in a new and creative way to generate new concepts, methodologies and understandings.”

Kalinga Institute of Nursing Sciences (KINS) organized a two-day e-Seminar on “Research Methodology” on 7th & 8th June 2021. Inaugurating the e-Seminar, Prof. (Mrs.) Amarita Lenka, Principal, KINS emphasized the significance of research in the field of Nursing education and practice, and focused on inculcating research temperament in creating new knowledge.

Speaking on the topic “Overview of Research Process”, Ms. Sanjukta Dixit, Tutor, KINS explained the steps in Quantitative Research. Mrs. Truptirekha Swain, Assistant Professor, KINS elucidated on the topic “Writing a Research Proposal”. Various types of “Experimental Research Design” were explained by Prof. (Mrs) Niyati Das, Vice Principal, KINS. The programme was anchored by Mrs. Tapaswinee Swain, Tutor, KINS and attended by around 170 participants.
