Prof. (Dr.) Saranjit Singh, Vice Chancellor, KIIT-DU received an award at the prestigious 15th CSR Leadership Summit 2025 on the theme “Fostering CSR in Odisha: Showcasing Odisha’s Pioneering CSR Initiatives”.
The summit aims to highlight the transformative potential of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) in addressing Odisha’s societal challenges. It brings together corporate leaders, policymakers, and community stakeholders to discuss and amplify the success of Odisha’s groundbreaking CSR projects.
Prof. Singh graced the Leadership Summit as the Guest of Honour. During his address, he highlighted the contribution of Dr. Achyuta Samanta, Founder, KIIT, KISS & KIMS, and his pivotal role in driving CSR initiatives through his institutions, particularly the Kalinga Institute of Social Sciences (KISS).
Through his visionary leadership and unwavering commitment to social causes, Dr. Achyuta Samanta has made a significant impact on the lives of countless individuals and has set a remarkable example of corporate social responsibility in India. He highlighted the role of KIIT & KISS for consistently demonstrating a strong commitment to social impact through various programs towards community outreach activities, women empowerment, sustainable practices, health and wellbeing, ethical practices, and similar initiatives.
