The Foundation Day of Manipur, Meghalaya, Tripura, and Uttar Pradesh was commemorated on 24th January 2026 at New Abhishek Hall, LokBhavan, Odisha.
The event was presided over by Dr. Hari BabuKambhampati, His Excellency the Hon’ble Governor of Odisha.
As part of the Government of India’s Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat initiative, around 40 students and 8 staff members from KIIT Deemed to be University (KIIT-DU), representing Manipur, Meghalaya, Tripura, and Uttar Pradesh, took part in the celebrations.
The occasion showcased the rich history, cultural vibrancy, and unique traditions of these states, reflecting the spirit of national integration and India’s unity in diversity.
The event was coordinated by the Office of the Registrar and the Hostel Administration, KIIT-DU.
