Mr. Smruti Ranjan Nayak, Creative Head (Publication Cell), KIIT Deemed to be University was invited as an International Jury member to the International Juried Online Group Exhibition-2020 organized by the Fine Arts Department of Çukurova University, Turkey. More than 300 artists worldwide participated in the exhibition. Prof. Dr. Aysehan Deniz, Dean, Faculty of Fine Arts personally sent a Note of Appreciation to Mr. Nayak thanking him for his active involvement in the exhibition. Earlier this year, he had participated in the “Stay at Home with Art”, a digital group exhibition held between 20th & 30th May, 2020 by Trakya University, Turkey. His painting on Mahatma Gandhi titled ‘Mahatma’s message in turbid times’ drew huge appreciation from the audience. The painting depicts Gandhiji’s peace message to the world; like everything else in our lives, this pandemic will go beyond too. The University has requested Mr. Nayak to treasure the painting in its library which is indeed an honour for our country.
