KIIT School of Mechanical Engineering Students Excel in Aerospace Design Challenge 2021

‘AERO HUB’ – a popular Youtube channel hosted Aerospace Design Challenge 2021 in collaboration with Space Development Nexus, Dautiya Aerospace and Helium Learning Labs in March 2021. Two students, namely Mr. Souvik Dutta and Ms. Anwesha Das, who are pursuing Aerospace Engineering at KIIT School of Mechanical Engineering, presented their analysis and optimization of the Boeing 737:100 wing. They were adjudged as the winners of the competition with a cash prize of Rs. 5000. Further, they were offered internships at Space Development Nexus and Dautiya Aerospace.

The Aerospace Design Challenge chose only five teams to present their original work for the Grand Finale, though more than 60 teams of Young Engineers made it through the short-listing. The finals were adjudged by former ISRO Mission Director Dr. Sundaramurthy T. K.; Prof. (Dr.) R. Rajasekarfrom, MVJ College of Engineering, Bangalore; Mr. P.Radhakrishnan, CEO of DAUTYA AEROSPACE Pvt. Ltd.; and Mr. Govind Yadav, Chief Innovation Officer, Space Development Nexus, Delhi.

KIIT Deemed to be University management congratulated both the students for their superb feat.

Aerospace Design Challenge 2021
