KIIT School of Law organised Round Table on Contemporary Constitutional Law Developments

KIIT School of Law organised Round Table on Contemporary Constitutional Law Developments on 18th and 19th of January, 2020. KIIT Centre for Constitutional Law Studies and Research of the School of Law, KIIT Deemed to be University organized its 1st Round Table Conference on Contemporary Constitutional Law Developments with a view to make students aware of the dynamics of Constitutional Law.

There were more than 250 students including 1st to 4th year students of the Law College itself, from the students outside the college and other law professionals. The event was mainly organized by the Constitutional Law Honours students of 4th year with the help of 3rd year, Constitutional Law Honours students.

In the event, four practicing lawyers and one professor shared the knowledge on the respective subjects: Religious Customs and Fundamental Rights by Adv. J Sai Deepak; Transformation and Evolution of Determining Backwardness in Reservation System by Sr. Adv. Yashowant Das; of the Constitution 103rd Amendment Act, 2019 by Sr. Adv. (Dr.) Aditya Sondhi; Right to Information (Amendment) Act, 2019 by Prof. (Dr.) Madabushi Sridhar and lastly Decriminalization of Section 497 of IPC by Adv. Kaleeswaram Raj. With this KIIT, like always, aims to promote education in India.
