KIIT School of Electronics Engineering Celebrates Women’s Week

KIIT School of Electronics Engineering in association with KIIT NSS Bureau  organized 2 day Youth Parliament event on 5th and 6th of March, 2020 at Auditorium, Campus-12. This event was organized to celebrate International Women’s Week. This event is a part of KONVOY 4.0 which is organized by NSS volunteers Ayush Agrawal, Vishwajeet Ku. Jha, Mohil Srivastava.

The speaker, Aditi Khuntia and the Deputy Speaker Satyajit Singh, from Ravenshaw University were present for the two days. They moderated over the debate. The Youth Parliament was preceded by the lighting of the lamps by the dignitaries and the inauguration was also done by the respected authorities present over there. The Bills discussed in Youth Parliament were the Data Protection Bill, 2019 and the Surrogacy Bill, 2018.

The event was overseen by the dignitaries like Dean, School of Electronics Dr. Suprava Patnaik; Program Coordinator of KIIT NSS Bureau Dr. Kajal Parashar; Program Officer of KIIT NSS School of Electronics Prof. Sruti S. Singh and Program Officer of KIIT NSS School of Law Prof. Jinia Kundu. The event was concluded with prize distribution to all the winners by Prof. Satyadeep Das, Program Officer of KIIT NSS School of Electronics.

In this context, all the participants have expressed their heartfelt gratitude to our Hon’ble Founder Dr. Achyuta Samanta; Vice Chancellor Prof. Hrushikesha Mohanty; Pro-Vice Chancellor Prof. Sasmita Samanta; and Dr. A. K. Ray, Director, School of Electronics Engineering for extending their support in organizing such an event.
