KIIT School of Electrical Engineering conducts 5-Day Webinar for M. Tech. and Ph.D. Scholars

KIIT School of Electrical Engineering conducted a 5-Day Webinar from 14th to 18th July, 2020 successfully on the theme- “Multi-disciplinary Research Networking”.  During 1st session (14th July, 2020), at the outset, Dr. Chinmoy Kumar Panigrahi, Director, SoEE welcoming the resource persons of Webinar, underlined about the research credentials and challenges of the School. Dr. Subrat Kumar Barik and Dr. Padarbinda Samal delivered a talk on “Project proposal to funding agencies”.

On 15th July, 2020, Dr. Alivarani Mohapatra and Dr. Sriparna Roy Ghatak delivered a talk on “Finding research problems”. During 3rd session (16th July, 2020), Prof. Subhendu Bikash Santra and Prof. Tapas Roy depicted on “Publishing research articles in referred Journals”. On request, Prof. Jnyana Ranjan Mohanty, Professor & Registrar joined the Webinar and motivated the Scholars to do real research.

On 17th July 2020, Dr. Subhra Debdas and Dr. Tanmoy Roy Choudhury demonstrated on “IEEE Society Activity”. Prof Subhransu Ranjan Samantaray, IIT Bhubaneswar was invited to the Webinar and addressed the gathering about the opportunities for an IEEE student member.  On request, Dr. Jayanta Kumar Parida, Director QA Cell, KIIT-DU joined the Webinar and shared his experience with scholars regarding “Key components for Project Proposal to funding agencies”.

On 18th July, 2020, Dr. Sriparna Roy Ghatak, Research Faculty of the School coordinated the whole sessions proactively. During the sessions, all faculty members, M. Tech. Scholars and Research Scholars of the School were present and they appreciated the speakers of each session. Finally, the session concluded with collection of the Attendance and Feedback through a Google form link from the participants.
