KIIT Quality Assurance Cell Celebrates Teachers’ Day

KIIT Quality Assurance Cell organized Teachers’ Day on 5th September 2021 on a virtual platform. On the occasion, Krishna Deb Kumar, Professor of Aerospace Engineering and Director of Artificial Intelligence for Aerospace Systems Laboratory, Ryerson University, President of iSAC Systems Inc., Toronto was invited as speaker. Sharing his experience in the field of industry-based and collaborative research, he depicted the application of Artificial Intelligence and data analytics in different research fields citing practical examples. “The teacher should understand the real problem of students during research and should be always cooperative”, he said.

Prof. Ashok Kumar Tripathy, Fmr. DG, CPRI inspired the students to do real research by self motivation. He urged the students to refer to books of reputed publishers in the field of their own research interest. Prof. Ashok Kumar Sar, Senior Professor, KIIT School of Management spoke on different learning techniques to do product-based research. Dr. Arindam Dev, Dy. Director, Accreditations congratulated and wished the students on this auspicious day.

At the outset, Prof. Chinmoy Kumar Panigrahi, Director, Quality Assurance Cell extended a warm welcome to all the dignitaries and participants. Dr. Tapan Kumar Bastia, Associate Prof. in Chemistry, School of Applied Science proposed the word of thanks. The programme was coordinated by Prof. Lispa Priyadarshini, Assistant Professor, School of Electrical Engineering. The event was attended by all Faculty Coordinators of Quality Assurance Cell of different Schools and Ph.D. Scholars.
