KIIT Faculty Participates in the Odisha AI Symposium 2025

Dr. Chinmay Chakraborty, Head of COIR – MedTech Centre, KIIT Deemed to be University, participated in the Odisha AI Symposium 2025 under the AI Impact Summit, a flagship initiative by the Government of India.

He served as a Panelist in the “AI in Medicine” session and contributed as a Program Committee Member, where he had the opportunity to present the vision and mission of KIIT MedTech Centre to a global audience.

The event was chaired by Dr. Mukesh Mahaling, Hon’ble Minister for Health & Family Welfare, Parliamentary Affairs, and Electronics & IT, Government of Odisha.

Apart from Dr. Chinmay Chakraborty from KIIT,  the other Panelists present on the  occasion were Dr. Ashutosh Biswas (Director, AIIMS); Prof. Pradipta Kumar Nanda (VC, SOA); Dr. Ashwini Nanda (AHRC, IIT BBSR); Dr. Debashis Das (Director, ILS); Prof. Banshidhar Majhi (VC, CGU); Dr. T.R. Raju (Shankar Eye Hospital, Bangalore); and Dr. Satish Panda (IIT BBSR).

Dr. Chakraborty has expressed his gratitude to the Vice Chancellor, KIIT DU for the incredible support and leadership in driving MedTech innovation at KIIT.
