The Inaugural Ceremony of Academic Empowerment 2023-24 was organized by IQAC KIIT-DU on 9th May 2024 in hybrid mode. The exercise is being conducted across all schools of KIIT-DU, including undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral programs, from May 7 to May 11, 2024.
Speaking at the inaugural session, Prof. (Dr.) Saranjit Singh, Vice Chancellor, KIIT-DU informed that 37 eminent academicians from reputed institutions across India have been invited to evaluate the functioning of the schools during the academic year 2023-24 and share their views and suggestions. He shared the vision of Dr. Achyuta Samanta, Founder, KIIT & KISS for achieving excellence through strategic planning and meticulous executions since inception.
Prof. Singh emphasized on rigorous academic audit for invaluable suggestions and recommendations from the esteemed expert members to bridge any gap between the existing scales of focal area’s parameters in comparison of other premier institutes. As a university, KIIT is already moving on the path of best teaching-learning practices, while making efforts to be even more meticulous, he added.
Dr. Siddharth Swarup Rautaray, Dean of IQAC, provided insights into the objectives of the academic empowerment initiative. Prof. (Dr.) J. R. Mohanty, Registrar, emphasized the rankings and accreditations garnered by KIIT-DU. Dr. Pratyusha Mukherjee, QA Coordinator at the School of Computer Engineering, extended words of thanks.
