On the occasion of WORLD BLOOD DONATION DAY on 14th June, 2025, IRCS-OSB felicitated KIIT-DU for its outstanding contribution in the field of blood donation. KIIT-DU organizes a mega blood donation camp every year collecting more than 30k units of blood. Along with that, the Youth Red Cross unit of KIIT-DU is very active in helping the society for emergency blood donation on request. This has been possible due to active participation of student volunteers under the guidance of counsellors Dr. Chitralekha Jena, Dr. Junali Jasmine Jena, Dr. Ajit Kumar Pasayat and Dr. Ramesh Chandra Sethi and unwavering support from Vice-Chancellor Dr. Saranjit Singh and Registrar Dr. Jnyana Ranjan Mohanty, KIIT-DU and under the visionary leadership of Dr. Achyuta Samanta, Founder KIIT & KISS.
