KIIT is in the top 100 engineering colleges in India among institutes such as IITs and NITs, as per a survey assessed all engineering and medical colleges across the country to reveal the name of topmost 100 engineering colleges and 25 medical colleges. KIIT Deemed University could assure their berth in the list, published in the July 17th issue of the magazine. The survey was conducted on the five basic parameters such as intellectual capitals, pedagogic systems, infrastructure, industry interface and placements. It is worth mentioning that while rest of the colleges figuring in the list are at least 50 years old, KIIT is hardly seven old. Therefore, KIIT’s inclusion in the list is no mean achievement. It proves the excellence of KIIT in the technical education scenario, and quality of education that is being imparted at KIIT DU. The news came as a surprise to the founder members, faculties and students as they were quite unaware about the survey conducted by leading magazine like Outlook and also thanked the officials of the magazine for conducting such a vast survey among all the engineering institutes of India which ultimately enhances the quality of technical education as well as boosts the morals of young institutes like KIIT.
