KIDS – WEBCON 2020, an exclusive online National Dental Conference, concluded on 31st August, 2020. Kalinga Institute of Dental Sciences (KIDS) KIIT Deemed to be University organized a 3-Day exclusive online National Dental Conference from 29th July to 31st July, 2020 which is one of the first online National Dental Conferences in India.
Following the vision of our Hon’ble Founder Dr. Achyuta Samanta, that nothing can stop the learning and studying instinct of KIDS of KIIT Deemed to be University, neither the COVID 19 Pandemic nor any climatic disasters, KIDS WEBCON was again a unique online conference where not even a single penny was charged from the participants as registration fees, following the footsteps of the great ideology of Art of Giving, initiated by our Founder.
As many as 15 eminent guest speakers who are the esteemed General Secretaries of all the 9 Specialties of Dental Sciences in India along with 6 other Eminent Speakers from the different specialties of Dental Sciences, delivered their respective guest lectures at the conference, More than 2500 delegates from across the country registered for the conference, while 5800 participants joined the conference from facebook live and zoom meet application.
More than 560 scientific papers and posters were presented by different researchers at an online portal during 3 days of conference which was well appreciated by different scientific chair persons. The Inauguration Ceremony was graced by the presence of Prof. Jnyana Ranjan Mohanty, Registrar, KIIT DU & other eminent guest speakers of the event. Dr. Jugajyoti Pathi, Asst. Director (Admin.), KIDS, & Chief Conference Coordinator, delivered a welcome address, where he informed everyone about the great visions of our beloved Founder and his commendable ideology of the Art of Giving. Dr. Dhirendra Kumar Singh, Chief scientific coordinator, delivered the vote of thanks.
The Chief Organizer of the Conference, Dr Jugajyoti Pathi, Assistant Director (Admin) along with the Team of KIDS, KIIT DU, congratulated each & every participant for their continuous enthusiasm and dedication during the entire online conference timing.
