Shri Mathur joining as Chief Guest highlighted the significance of IEEE Bhubaneswar section. Students and faculty members will be benefitted by this, he added.
IEEE Bhubaneswar Section is the 14th section of this country awarded to the date of Odisha. It is part of the largest society existing worldwide and working for the technology connecting society. This will connect academia, industry and knowledge dissemination platforms making a paradigm shift in society.
IEEE and its members inspire a global community through IEEE’s highly cited publications, conferences, technology standards, and professional and educational activities. The journey started as a subsection in November 2015 and it’s the 10th year of operation as IEEE Bhubaneswar subsection which has grown up to 8 society chapters/Young Affinity group/WIE/ 17 Student Branches/ 10 Student society chapters etc. and engaged in various activities.
Prof. S.R Samantaray, Interim Chair, IEEE Bhubaneswar Section gave the welcome Address while Dr. Srinivas B Karanki, Interim Secretary displayed a video on Major Activities of IEEE.
On occasion, IEEE Newsletter and IEEE T-Shirts released by the guest. At last, Prof. Chinmoy Kumar Panigrahi, Interim Vice Chair, IEEE Bhubaneswar Section proposed vote of thanks.
