One of the most charismatic and best Cricket Commentators of India, Mr. Harsha Bhogle, delivered a lecture on “Empowering Youth Through Sports” on 20th December,2017 .
Harsha captivated the students and staff of KIIT with his motivational talk. He also interacted with the students and responded with his usual wit to the queries.
Addressing the jubilant audience, he said,
“I have done adequate experiments all through my life so far and in the process committed scores of mistakes. However, I have eventually learnt from those mistakes and this practice is still going on till today. Make mistakes but never repeat them.”
He further said,
“Life is not like playing T-20 Cricket rather we play Test Cricket matches every now and then.”
“Winning is not meant to be Number One. Therefore, don’t worry about Numbers. Practice excellence.” , he added.
At the end, Prof. Sasmita Samanta, Registrar, KIIT Deemed to be University felicitated Mr. Harsha Bhogle. Prof. Kumar Mohanty, Director, Corporate Relations, proposed Vote of Thanks. Everyone present on the occasion thoroughly enjoyed and appreciated the power packed talk delivered by Mr. Bhogle.
