A 30-hour online domain training on “Fundamentals of Electrical Science” was inaugurated at School of Electrical Engineering, KIIT-DU on 10th June 2021 for 2020 admitted batch students. Objectives of the training are to enhance knowledge in core subjects, familiarize with different problem solving techniques and develop critical thinking skills among budding engineers.
Speaking at the inaugural program, Dr. Byamakesh Nayak, Dean SOEE highlighted the importance of basic core concepts in electrical engineering and its real world examples. Dr. Rudra Narayan Dash, B. Tech Program Head explained the significance of the training for preparing students for competitive engineering examinations and interviews.
Dr. Banishree Misra, coordinator of the program, welcomed all guests, experts and students, and also elaborated the objective of conducting this domain training. Prof. Snehalika, expert of the domain, discussed about the modalities of the course. Prof. Lipsa Subhadarshini anchored the session and proposed the vote of thanks.
