KIIT School of Electrical Engineering organized an array of activities, “Speak and Search Lecture Series”, “PhD Orientation Program (2019 Admitted Batch)” and “Chai pe Charcha” with International students of SoEE on 16th of August, 2019.
During PhD Orientation Program (2019 Admitted Batch), Dr. Manoj Kumar Maharana placed the welcome address followed by self introduction of Research Scholars and all Guides. Dr. Chinmoy Kumar Panigrahi, Professor and Dean, SoEE focused on the responsibility of the Research Scholars during PhD Program. All Research Scholars visited academic lab and research lab of the School accompanied by Dr. S.R.Ghatak and Dr. B.Mishra after the meeting.
Further, during Speak and Search Lecture Series, Dean, SoEE delivered lecture on the topic titled “Role of PhD Guide”. He emphasized on several crucial points i.e. submission of project proposals by each faculty members, scope of guide and guidelines of PhD Program KIIT-DU.
During “Chai pe Charcha”, International students of SoEE shared their experience on stay and gave views on academic with Dean, International students and team. Dean, SoEE addressed the students followed by one to one discussion with Prof. (Dr.) S.C.Swain, Associate Dean; Dr B.K.Nayak, Program Head M.Tech.; and Swagat Das, FIC, International students.
Dr. Padarbinda Samal, Faculty Coordinator proposed Vote of Thanks.
All the Faculty Members and Research Scholars of School of Electrical Engineering, KIIT DU were present during these activities.
