The “Nua Disha – Youth Job Preparedness Workshop” was successfully organized by KIIT-ITI on 31st October 2025, in collaboration with the Lighthouse Communities Foundation and GOYN. The day-long event aimed to empower youth with essential job readiness skills through engaging and practical sessions. Eminent guests including Mr. Nikhil Kokkula, Assistant Director, MeraYuva Bharat, Ministry of Youth and Skill Development, and Mr. Tapan Kumar Raul, Sub-Regional Employment Officer, NCSC-SC/ST, Ministry of Labour and Employment graced the occasion. Dr. Satyaranjan Jena, Principal, KIIT-ITI also addressed the participants.
Students participated in interactive sessions such as “Colour of Peace,” SWOT Analysis, Communication and Personality Development, and CV and Interview Strategy. These activities provided valuable insights into self-awareness, teamwork, and professional growth. All distinguished guests, in their inspiring addresses, appreciated the visionary leadership of Prof. (Dr.) Achyuta Samanta, Founder, KIIT, KISS & KIMS, for his tireless efforts in transforming education, enhancing employability, and uplifting youth across all sections of society. The event concluded with a vote of thanks and certificate distribution, marking a meaningful step towards youth empowerment and career preparedness.
