The KIIT Youth Red Cross (YRC) Unit organized a Cyber Security Awareness Workshop titled “Digital Awareness: Track, Map, and Shield Your Online Identity” on 17th January 2026. The workshop was conducted by Mr. Lagnajeet Mishra; Cyber Security Manager at PwC and Mr. Tushar Routray; Associate Consultant, Tata Consultancy Services who led an engaging and informative session highlighting the importance of online safety and responsible digital behavior
The session provided meaningful insights into online tracking mechanisms, digital footprints, and effective methods to safeguard personal data in today’s digital age. Through interactive discussions and question-based engagement, participants gained a clearer understanding of how their online activities shape their digital identity and the risks associated with unsafe digital practices
The workshop emphasized the growing concerns related to cyber crimes, frauds, and online scams, encouraging participants to remain vigilant and adopt secure digital habits. The event was conducted under the guidance and support of YRC KIIT counselors; Dr. Ajit Kumar Pasayat, Dr. Chitralekha Jena, Dr. Junali Jasmine Jena, and Dr. Ramesh Chandra Sethi whose leadership played a vital role in the successful execution of the program.
This initiative once again reflected YRC KIIT’s commitment to promoting digital literacy, social responsibility, and awareness-driven education. The workshop empowered participants to not only practice safe digital behavior but also spread awareness within their communities, contributing to a safer and more informed digital environment.
