A three-day online workshop on Applied Python-I was organized by School of Computer Applications, KIIT Deemed to be University from 27th-29th June 2022. The objective of the workshop was to develop skills in using recent machine learning algorithms for solving practical problems and gain experience of doing independent study and research.
The workshop witnessed sessions by resource person Debolina Mohapatra (M.Tech. in Computer Science, NIT Patna) who is currently working as a developer at Samsung Research Institute. She has also volunteered as a section leader for Stanford University’s online Introduction to Python Programming course during the times of COVID-19.
As many as 46 participants from over six institutes/universities outside KIIT joined the workshop. They included PG Scholars, Research Scholars, students and faculties from School of Civil Engg, KIIT-DU, KIIT Polytechnic, IIIT Bhubaneswar, Christ-DU, Bangalore, KISS-DU and other premier institutes. The workshop was coordinated by Dr. Satya Ranjan Dash, Associate Professor, School of Computer Applications, KIIT-DU.
