School of Electrical Engineering, KIIT-DU conducted an alumni talk under ‘KAMYA: Alumni Talk Series’ on 25th January 2022. The talk was delivered by Mr. Rahul Kumar Singh, a 2017 graduate currently working as Deputy Manager (R&D NPD) at Mahindra Electric (EV Tech Division) Innovation Centre, Bangalore. He told students about the various technical and HR skills required to crack interviews. Earlier, Dr. Arjyadhara Pradhan, Alumni Co-coordinator welcomed the alumni speaker. The meeting was conducted in online mode with participatory discussions with the members present.
Mr. Singh was selected in the IIT Madras team to build an off grid solar power project with Li-ion Battery pack, BMS and electrified 10000 households in J&K. He has worked with the Indian Army and Air Force team to execute this project. He has worked for the development of almost 200 Electric Buses for Pune Government while working in Olectra and taking care of complete vehicle troubleshooting and diagnostics to resolve the issues. He was selected by JBM and manufactured almost 700 electric buses for different states Government TD.
