The 23rd OITS International Conference on Information Technology (OCIT-2025) was successfully held from December 18th to 20th, 2025, at the School of Computer Applications, KIIT Deemed to be University. Technically co-sponsored by the IEEE Bhubaneswar Section and the Consumer Technology Society Chapter, the conference served as a premier global forum for researchers, academicians, industry leaders, and policymakers to exchange pioneering ideas and showcase state-of-the-art research in Computer Science and Information Technology.
Over the three-day event, five insightful keynote addresses were delivered by globally recognized experts like Prof. Sudeep Pasricha (Colorado State University); Prof. Saraju P. Mohanty (University of North Texas); Swami Prem Anveshi (MD, ECO GREEN); Dr. Deepak Puthal (United Arab Emirates University, UAE); and Dr. Kumar Gautam (Quantum Research and Centre of Excellence, New Delhi).
OCIT-2025 attracted a diverse group of participants from across the globe, with significant participation from the Indian academic community. Delegates from various parts of the country presented their research findings across multiple technical sessions.
The event was graced by several eminent guests including Dr. Sarojini Sarangi well known Obstetrician & Gynecologist; Kalipada Tripathy (Rakuten, Tokyo); Prof. Lov Kumar (NIT Kurukshetra); Mrinal Kanti Deb Barma (NIT Agartala); Santosh Kumar Nanda (HCLTech, Bangalore); and Umasankar Das, Cognizant, Kolkata.
The conference proceedings will be published by IEEE and indexed in Scopus. Authors of selected extended papers will be invited to submit their work to special issues of several reputed international journals.
At the inaugural session, Chief Guest Dr. Sudeep Pasricha—an IEEE Fellow and ACM Distinguished Member—emphasized the significance of innovative software algorithms, hardware architecture, and the complexities of hardware-software co-design. Swami Prem Anveshi provided a unique perspective by bridging the gap between traditional spirituality and contemporary technological challenges. Prof. Saraju P. Mohanty also shared visionary thoughts on the evolving IT landscape.
Prof. Jnyana Ranjan Mohanty, Registrar of KIIT-DU, addressed the delegates, offering his views on the future of research and innovation. Prof. Veena Goswami, Director General of the KIIT School of Computer Applications, welcomed the guests and expressed gratitude to the KIIT management for the seamless execution of the event. The technical roadmap was detailed by Program Chair Dr. Niranjan K. Ray, while Dr. Debasmita Pradhan, Organizing Chair, delivered the vote of thanks. The organizing committee expressed their profound gratitude to Prof. Achyuta Samanta, Founder of KIIT, KISS & KIMS, for his constant encouragement, as well as Prof. (Dr.) Saranjit Singh, Vice-Chancellor of KIIT-DU, for his steadfast guidance and support.
