The 6th International Conference on Emerging Systems and Intelligent Computing (ESIC-2026) was successfully organized during 7th–8th February 2026 at the School of Computer Engineering, KIIT-DU. The conference served as a prestigious international forum that brought together academicians, researchers, scientists, and industry professionals from across the globe to deliberate on recent advancements and future directions in emerging systems and intelligent computing.
The Inaugural Ceremony of ESIC-2026 was held on 7th February 2026. The Guest Introduction was delivered by Dr. Pradeep Kumar Mallick, Program Chair, ESIC-2026, followed by the Welcome Address by Prof. Biswajit Sahoo, Director General, School of Computer Engineering & General Chair, ESIC-2026. In his address, Prof. Sahoo extended a warm welcome to all dignitaries, speakers, and delegates and emphasized the importance of ESIC-2026 in promoting research excellence, innovation, and global academic collaboration.
The inaugural session was graced by eminent dignitaries. Swami Prem Anveshi, Managing Director, Futurex, and Chief Guest, highlighted the importance of spiritual values and ethical considerations in the development and application of artificial intelligence. Prof. Jnyana Ranjan Mohanty, Registrar, KIIT-DU, highlighted the remarkable growth of the University and emphasized the significance of ESIC-2026 in fostering research excellence and global academic collaboration. Prof. Subhransu R. Samantaray, Chair, IEEE Bhubaneswar Section, and Prof. Ashok Kumar Turuk, National Institute of Technology (NIT) Rourkela, highlighted the role of emerging technologies and emphasized the continuous support and contributions of IEEE in serving society and advancing technological innovation.
Prof. Gyoo-Soo Chae, Baekseok University, South Korea, General Chair, ESIC-2026, highlighted recent advancements in emerging technologies and expressed his sincere gratitude to KIIT-DU for its role in his professional growth and contribution toward national development. Prof. Niranjan K. Ray, Program Chair, ESIC-2026, highlighted the conference statistics and emphasized the academic rigor, quality of research, and strong global participation achieved by the conference. The inaugural ceremony concluded with a Vote of Thanks by Prof. Pinaki Sankar Chatterjee, Organizing Chair, ESIC-2026, during which he encouraged all delegates to visit the KISS campus, marking a dignified conclusion to the inaugural session.
The conference received an overwhelming global response with a total of 1,675 research paper submissions from national and international researchers. Following a rigorous peer-review process, 165 high-quality papers were accepted, registered, and presented, resulting in a highly competitive acceptance rate of approximately 9.85%. All accepted papers were presented across 27 parallel technical sessions, enabling in-depth scholarly discussions and effective knowledge exchange. ESIC-2026 featured one keynote address and five invited talks, delivered by eminent experts from South Korea and the United States, highlighting strong international participation and meaningful academia–industry collaboration.

The Keynote Address was delivered by Prof. Ashok Kumar Turuk, National Institute of Technology (NIT) Rourkela, who highlighted contemporary challenges and future research directions in emerging systems and intelligent computing.
The Invited Talks were delivered by Dr. Gyoo-Soo Chae, Baekseok University, South Korea, on AI-based FHSS signal classification; Mr. Sumith Sunny Dayal Thalary, Kubota Tractor Corporation, USA, on AI-ready governance in cloud DevOps; Mr. Anvesh Katipelly, PayPal Services Inc., USA, on predictive AI for proactive customer engagement; Mr. Paramesh Sethuraman, Nokia America Corporation, USA, on latency-aware scheduling and resource control algorithms; and Mr. Narendra Kumar Kuntamukkala, DTCC, Texas, USA, on performance and security optimization in enterprise software architectures. These sessions provided valuable insights into cutting-edge research trends and significantly strengthened academia–industry collaboration.
Prof. Pinaki Sankar Chatterjee, Organizing Chair, ESIC-2026, played a pivotal role in overseeing the overall organization of the conference. He was ably supported by Dr. Mohit Ranjan Panda, Organizing Chair, ESIC-2026, who supervised all technical sessions and coordinated hospitality arrangements throughout the conference, ensuring smooth session conduct and a pleasant experience for invited speakers and delegates.
The Valedictory Function of ESIC-2026 was conducted on 8th February 2026, marking the successful conclusion of the two-day international conference. The valedictory session reflected on the technical deliberations, research outcomes, and collaborative opportunities generated during the conference, and expressed sincere appreciation to all speakers, delegates, reviewers, organizers, and volunteers for their invaluable contributions.
