Dr. Anindya De, Assistant Professor of Computer and Information Science at University of Pennsylvania, USA delivered a lecture on “Complexity theoretic view of unsupervised learning” on 4th September 2021. The lecture, organized by the School of Computer Engineering, KIIT Deemed to be University, enlightened and benefited Graduate and Master’s students, research scholars, and faculty members by giving them a basic knowledge on the subject and some recent overview of on computational complexity & sample complexity of learning probability distributions. He further explained frequent analogies with learning Boolean functions. The session was kept interactive by efforts put by the speaker, students, and the host. The session was coordinated and hosted by Dr. Dipak Kumar Mohanty, Assistant Professor, School of Computer Engineering.
