Today, a 2-Day Workshop on Research Methodology commenced at Kalam Hall, KIIT School of Management. Over 30 researchers from all over the country are attending the Workshop. Prof. Jnyana Ranjan Mohanty, Registrar, KIIT Deemed to be University along with Prof. S.K. Mahapatra, Director, KIIT School of Management inaugurated the Workshop.
Prof. Jnyana Ranjan Mohanty, Chief Guest at the Inaugural Session delivered the Keynote Address. He mentioned about the significance of high quality research and KIIT Deemed to be University’s commitment to promote quality research as a responsibility of our new status as an Institute of Eminence (IoE).
He mentioned that KIIT Deemed to be University is now an Institute of Eminence declared by MHRD, Government of India and one among the top 20 Universities of India. He reminisced the contribution of Dr. Achyuta Samanta, Hon’ble Founder, KIIT & KISS as the dynamic force behind the growth of KIIT Deemed to be University with its commitment to promote high quality research.
He urged research scholars to work on projects that can solve the problems of the society and invited researchers to pursue multi-disciplinary research availing the facility of 28 schools within the KIIT Campus spanning from Engineering, Management, Social Science, Medicine and Law etc.
Prof. R.N. Subudhi and Prof. Sumita Mishra are coordinating the Workshop under the guidance of Prof. Satya N. Misra, Dean, KSOM. A Book on “Methodological Issues in Management Research” edited by Prof. R.N. Subudhi and Prof. Sumita Mishra was released on this occasion. The Bi-Annual Research Journal of KIIT School of Management, “Parikalpana” was also unveiled on this occasion.
