KIIT ITI celebrated 28th Annual function (KRUTITWA 2020) on 27th February, 2020. The Inaugural meeting was graced by Dr. Achyuta Samanta, Founder of KIIT & KISS; Shri R.N Dash, Secretary KIIT & KISS and Sri P.K. Sahoo, Director Estate & Establishment.
At the outset, Principal of KIIT ITI Dr. Gangadhar Mishra placed the welcome address. In his address, Dr. Mishra deliberated the growth of KIIT since 1992 till date under the guidance of Hon’ble Founder. He encouraged the trainees to perform well in all sector and wished them all the best for the upcoming world skills competition. He also presented the annual report in his address. The major highlights of the last year were introduction of online exam, setting of EWL centre, and achieving 100% placement etc.
Sri. P.K Sahoo, Director E & E elaborated the journey of KIIT from a 2 room rented building to the world class state-of-the-art infrastructure with Institution of Eminence tag. He advised the trainees to utilize the resources and facilities available at KIIT to have a bright and prosperous future.
Sri R.N Dash encouraged the trainees not to confine themselves with simple ITI degree but to go forward and achieve higher degree for a bright future. He informed the trainees about the support services provided by the KIIT to them for their higher education. He also expressed his confidence in the education system of KIIT ITI as admired by different Govt. reports.
In the presidential address, Hon’ble Founder appreciated the discipline sense of the trainees. He congratulated the girl trainees to pursue the ITI curriculum to have a brighter future in the world of skill. He advised the trainees to take forward the EWI activities in future.
Mr. SK. Shamiullah, Training Officer offered the vote of thanks. On this occasion, Hon’ble Founder inaugurated the skill exhibition, KARAMAT-2020. He praised the major project preparation by different trade trainees. During his visit to the EWL section, he commended the products fabricated.
