World AIDS Day: YRC KIIT Volunteer Awarded

On International AIDS Day, YRC KIIT volunteers participated in a series of impactful awareness programs organized by the Orissa State AIDS Control Society (OSACS), Government of Odisha, to educate and engage the community about HIV/AIDS.

The event featured three key activities: Rangoli making, umbrella painting, and a general knowledge competition, all centered on HIV/AIDS awareness. A vibrant group of 30 volunteers from YRC KIIT actively participated under the mentorship of YRC KIIT counselor Dr. Chitralekha Jena.

Priyanshu Aryan Panda, a second-year student from the CSE branch, secured the second position in the quiz competition, showcasing exceptional knowledge and awareness. He was awarded by the Chief Guest, Dr. Mukesh Mahaling, Hon’ble Minister of Health & Family Welfare, Parliamentary Affairs, and Electronics & Information Technology, Government of Odisha.

This initiative stands as a testament to the power of collective action in addressing critical health issues and making a lasting impact on society.
