Odisha State TNAI Elections & National Record Achievement

The Odisha State Branch of the Trained Nurses’ Association of India (TNAI)  made history by setting a national record with more than 1500 voters participating in the recently held elections—marking the highest voter turnout among all states in the country. The election  showcased the dedication and enthusiasm of the nursing community in Odisha. The record-breaking participation in the elections reflects the growing unity and strength of nurses in Odisha.

Among the distinguished winners were Prof. (Dr.) Anasuya Pattanayak, Professor & HOD, Dept. of Community Health Nursing – President, Odisha State TNAI and Ms. Pragyan Parimita Mishra, DNS, PBMH, KIMS – Chairperson, Membership Committee, TNAI.

The elected representatives were felicitated by eminent personalities in the field of healthcare and education, including Dr. Achyuta Samanta, Founder, KIIT & KISS; Dr. Niyati Das, Principal, Kalinga Institute of Nursing Sciences;  Dr. R.C. Das, Principal, KIMS; Dr. Manas Behera Medical Superintendent, KIMS-PBMH and Dr. R.N Samanta, Senior Advisor to Founder. Their presence and words of encouragement motivated the newly elected team to work towards the betterment of the nursing community in Odisha.
