KSOM students bag top honours at 6th ZENITH – Reward & Recognition Program conducted by National HRD Network (NHRDN), Bhubaneswar Chapter at Infosys on 7th February, 2020. The event witnessed more than 60 delegates from various corporates, hospitals, hotels and academic institutions.
The National HRD Network (NHRDN) is a Global Centre for Grooming Leaders and the National Apex body of professionals committed to promote the People Development movement in the country as well as enhance the capability of human resource professionals to compete globally, thereby creating value for society. Towards this end, National HRD Network is committed to the development of human resources through education, training, research and experience sharing.
One of the flagship programs of NHRD Bhubaneswar Chapter is Zenith – the Reward & Recognitionprogram which is in its 6th year. The main objective of Zenith is to create an enabling framework for rewarding and recognizing key contributors to HR, in the Eastern Region in particular. The theme for this year is “HR in the World of Artificial Intelligence”.
The Inaugural Sessionwas commencedwith a welcome address by Dr. Santanu Rath, President, NHRDN, Bhubaneswar Chapter. This was followed by a panel discussion on the theme, with panellists comprising Mr. Sudhir Kumar Jaiswal, President & CEO, ESSPL; Ms. Soumya Mohapatra, Group Manager, Unit Strategy, Planning, and Operations & D&I BBSR Centre, Infosys; and Mr. Ipsit Mishra, Director AI, Tech Mahindra. The session was moderated by Dr. Saroj K. Mahapatra, Director, KSOM and life member, NHRDN, Bhubaneswar Chapter.
Post lunch, an activity session on “Confidence Building” was conducted by Dr. Shradha Padhi, Professor KSOM & Secretary, NHRDN, Bhubaneswar Chapter. Apart from several competitions, HR articles were invited from different B Schools on the topic “Role of AI in HR”. The first prize was bagged by Kousambi Kumar, KIIT School of Management; second prize by Praise Chacko, KIIT School of Management.
NHRDN had conducted a National level ranking of B Schools. KIIT School of Management from Odisha along with two other B schools received top honours.
