KIIT School of Fashion Technology (KSFT) has won the First Prize in the Fashion Show at SISIR SARAS 2023 organized by Odisha Rural Development & Marketing Society (ORMAS), Govt. of Odisha. Twenty-one students participated in the fashion show wearing the Odisha handlooms in innovative designs and styles reflecting the traditional values of Odisha. They used the traditional handicraft products made by Kalinga Institute of Social Sciences (KISS) students as props promoting the use of traditional handicrafts in our modern lives. NIFT Bhubaneswar bagged second position in the competition, which had participation from many other leading fashion colleges. SISIR SARAS, an annual national level fair, is being organized by ORMAS from 13th to 29th January 2023 in Bhubaneswar, during the Men’s Hockey World Cup 2023.
