In a noteworthy achievement, Ms. Esha Rout, a 2017-21 batch student of KIIT School of Fashion Technology, has been selected for the Global Korea Scholarship (GKS) for pursuing Master’s in Fashion Design in Hongik University, South Korea. It is a fully funded Korean Government scholarship that covers her flight, tuition, monthly stipend and health insurance for the next three years. Hongik is among the Top 51-100 universities in the world in QS subject wise rankings and among Top 10 Art universities in Asia. Also, it is considered the most reputed Art & Design institution in South Korea. Out of 1200 nationwide applications for GKS this year, 15 candidates from India made it.
