An eminent dermatologist of Kalinga Institute of Medical Sciences(KIMS), Dr. Hemant Kumar Kar has been conferred with the prestigious lifetime achievement award by the Government of Odisha.
Dr. Kar has been awarded for his outstanding contribution and significant research in the field of leprosy treatment. For the advancement of dermatology, Dr. Kar has fully dedicated himself. It is expected that his tireless efforts and commitment to the study and treatment of leprosy will contribute significantly to the management of the disease. In leading skin disease and leprosy research, Dr. Kar has a remarkable role. Dr. Kar has taken great strides in excellence in clinical practice and research with his knowledge and experience.
