On the eve of International Women’s Day, Sushree Tapaswini Das, KIMS Dietician, was felicitated with the prestigious AARYA Award 2024. The award, presented by Parichay Foundation, recognized Das among 18 exceptional Odia women achievers from various fields and regions for their significant contributions to their respective domains.
Her field of work is education, health and nutrition and the beneficiaries are infants, adolescents, pregnant women, lactating mothers, and geriatrics persons who belong to vulnerable as well as low socio-economic groups.
Her goals are achieving Anemia, Mukt Bharat, Kuposhan Mukt Bharat and a significant reduction in infant and maternal mortality rates.
The AARYA Award 2024 was bestowed upon Sushree Tapaswini Das by guests such as internationally renowned Sarod player Padmashri Ustad Gulfam Ahmad Khan, former MLA Priyadarshi Mishra, and Dr. Rosalin Patsani Mishra, the founder of Parichay Foundation, alongside the Director of Ruchi Masala.
