KIIT University’s M.Com 1st Year Student, Ms. Maganti Keerthi, Wins Silver at All India Inter University Weightlifting (Women) Championship 2025.

In a remarkable display of strength and determination, Ms. Maganti Keerthi, an M.Com 1st Year student from KIIT University, clinched the Silver Medal  in the 81 kg category at the All India Inter University Weightlifting (Women) Championship 2025. The prestigious event was organized by the Central University of Himachal Pradesh, Dharamshala, under the aegis of the Association of Indian Universities (AIU) from 14th to 17th February 2025 at DYSSO Indoor Stadium, near HPCA Cricket Stadium, Dharamshala.

Ms. Keerthi showcased an exceptional performance, lifting 82 kg in Snatch and 103 kg in Clean & Jerk, with a total of 185 kg. Her dedication, rigorous training, and unwavering spirit helped her secure a podium finish against tough competition from top athletes across the country.

A dedicated athlete, Ms. Maganti Keerthi has been training for the past 7 years at the KIIT University Weightlifting Academy. Her hard work and perseverance have not only earned her this prestigious medal but also a place in the upcoming Khelo India University Games, marking another significant milestone in her sporting journey.
