KIIT Student’s Film Wins ‘Honorable Mention’ International Film Festival

Mr. Amarendra Mohapatra, a talented student from KIIT School of Film and Media Science (SFMS), has achieved a remarkable milestone by receiving a rare honor at an esteemed International Film Festival held in the USA. His short film titled “ABARJANA” stood out among a staggering 13,868 entries from 120 countries, earning an ‘Honorable Mention’ at the prestigious “2023 Student World Impact Film Festival.”

The School is celebrating the student’s achievement and appreciates the student’s social responsibility as the film deals with maintaining city cleanliness. Prof. Ganeswar Mohapatra, Coordinator and other faculty members have commended this artistic and successful endeavour of the student.

This achievement speaks volumes about the level of academic support and preparedness that the students at SFMS receive and showcase. The School remains dedicated to the words of encouragement and guidance provided by Dr. Achyuta Samanta, Founder of KIIT & KISS.
