Ms. Riya Ronal, an 8th semester student of Fashion Design from KIIT School of Fashion Technology, is in the glamour news of the State as she won the Odisha Beauty Expo 2k22 held at Jharsuguda on 5th April 2022. Bollywood actress Ms. Padmini Kolhapuri was the judge of the pageant. Ms. Ronal was chosen as the brand ambassador of “Rivaah Bride of Odisha” by Tanishq Gold, a Tata enterprise. She was also chosen as a model for tribal theme merchandise launched by Amazon and Snapdeal e-commerce platforms.
Earlier, Ms. Ronal had won Miss Odisha Top Super Model Contest in Odisha Fashion Villa Group 2k19 and has worked in assignment with Reliance Jewels. She was also selected as a participant in Forever Miss India 2021, organized by Forever Star India Awards in New Delhi in 2021.
The Founder of KIIT & KISS; Director General, School of Fashion Technology, School of Film & Media Sciences and School of Mass Communication; Dy. Director; and faculty members congratulated her on the achievement and wished her best to reach greater heights of success in future.
